Terms of Service
The conditions for using Precisino: what is included, what we promise and what we do not.
Courtesy translation
This is a courtesy translation; in case of discrepancy, the Italian version prevails. The Italian text is the one that binds, and it is available on the Italian version of this page.
Who provides the service
Precisino is a service of Claudio Rubbiani — Via Saffi, 35 — 41125 Modena (Italy) — VAT no. IT04107830368 (hereinafter “we”). Contact: claudio@precisino.it.
Precisino is addressed to those who use it for work. It is not a service for consumers, and whoever activates it declares that they are acting in the exercise of their own business.
What is included
The two plans are described, with the prices in full, on the pricing page: that page is part of these terms.
The photo check has a quota of photos included in the plan and a price beyond the quota, both written on the same page. No charge occurs without the number having first been visible inside the product.
There are no online payments: activations, renewals and packs are invoiced and paid outside the product. No credit card is asked for or kept.
The account and the keys
Whoever opens the account is responsible for the API keys they create and for what is done with them. A key is not to be shared or published: it counts as a credential, and whoever has it can create verdicts in your name. Keys are revoked in Settings, in one tap.
It is not permitted to use Precisino to process end customers' personal data, to monitor people beyond what the law allows, or to photograph individuals.
We may suspend an account that puts the service or other people's data at risk, giving notice beforehand where possible and immediately afterwards where it is not.
The photo check: what it is and what it is not
The photo check compares a photograph with the reference photo and the checklist that you have defined yourself, and returns an outcome with the observations item by item. It is a tool to support whoever decides, not a certification and not an expert appraisal.
The verdict can be wrong. The responsibility for what is handed over to the customer, and for compliance with hygiene, safety or contractual rules, remains with whoever runs the business. No verdict given by Precisino replaces a check required by law.
Availability, and what happens when something goes wrong
We keep the service working with the diligence that is to be expected, but we do not promise absolute continuity: maintenance, providers' failures and events of force majeure exist. Planned works are announced when they can be.
The data is on professional infrastructure with backups. It stays yours: the public API returns all of it, at any time, and on closure we hand it over to you if you ask us for it.
Liability
Within the limits allowed by law, our total liability towards a customer does not exceed what that customer has paid in the twelve months preceding the event. Wilful misconduct and gross negligence remain outside every limit.
We are not liable for indirect damages — loss of profit, loss of custom, damage to reputation — nor for the consequences of a use of the service that departs from these terms or from the law.
Term, withdrawal, changes
The relationship is of indefinite duration and closes whenever you like, by writing to us: the service stays active until the end of the period already paid for.
These terms may change. Changes are communicated by email with at least thirty days' notice to those who have an active account; if they do not suit you, you may withdraw within that term without penalties.
Governing law and jurisdiction
Italian law applies. For every dispute the Court of Modena (Foro di Modena) has exclusive jurisdiction.
